Went home this past weekend for a quick visit and Papa Blum shared some of his recycling secrets. Apparently the passion for recycling runs in the family. My dad made me jealous when he showed me his homemade rain barrel. He got a used 40 gallon soy sauce (yes soy sauce) container from someone on Craig’s List. Then he cleaned it out put on some attachments and now gets up to 40 gallon’s of water to use on the plants and garden vegetables.
I’ll have to try this myself…
